X-Cel Swimming is a parent run USA Swimming team founded in 1995, and based in Mercer County.  During these years, we have provided a core program of competitive short course swimming from September to March, and long course swimming from April to the end of July.  Swimmers in the core program are divided into five different levels based on age and ability.  Swimmers in the youngest level should be able to swim a lap without difficulty.  Level 1 swimmers practice four days a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.  Swimmers in Level 2 and Level 3 practice five days a week, and swimmers in Level 4 and Level 5 practice six days a week. In addition to the core programs, we provide two supplemental programs consisting of a fall preparatory program for high school swimmers from September to November, and a spring pre-PASDA program from April to June.

Our core short course and long course programs swim at DeNunzio pool and Dillon pool on the campus of Princeton University.  The supplemental fall preparatory program for high school swimmers is also based at DeNunzio pool at Princeton University.  The supplemental spring pre-PASDA program is based at Princeton University or at Mercer County Community College.  The Mercer County Community College pool is located in the Physical Education Building on the West Windsor Campus of MCCC.
