The X-Cel 200Free Relay Team Won 1st and Break the X-Cel Record

Hi, This is Serena Deardorff with the JO News Report. On July 29th, 
the X-Cel (A) 200Free relay team, Megan  Lydzinski, June Zhang, Connie Zhang, and Jocelyn Yuen got a time of 2:03.78. The relay team beat the X-Cel record of 2:04.45 and scored gold. Megan gave us a boosted, head start, June and Connie kept up the lead, Jocelyn went a strong finish. They got 1st and won by 0.03 seconds.

A four-person team consisting of Ceara Bowman, Annelies Paine, Serena Deardorff, and June Zhang swam a 200 meter medley relay in the Junior Olympics of 2006. Through hard work and constant practicing they achieved 1st place in their heat. First up was Ceara, who swam a split time of 39.25 for back. Next up was Annelies who swam a split time of 39.02 for breast. Serena swam a 34.28 for fly, and June swam a 31.13 for free. Their final time was a 2:23.68. Congratulations on your achievement. You were a great asset to X-Cel. P.S. Buying those fasts kin apparently was not a waste.
