July 29 – Aug 1, 2010 - X-Cel Swimming Announces Top-8 Finishes at the NJ Swimming 2010 LC Junior Olympics

Princeton, NJ – X-Cel Swimming placed sixth out of 41 teams with a total of 1092.5 points at the NJ Swimming 2010 LC Junior Olympics held July 29 to Aug. 1 at Rutgers. Thirteen team records were broken at the meet and two swimmers ranked as “high point” scorers. (Full story)

March 15, 2009 - X-Cel Swimming Has Largest Group Ever for Sectional Meet

Princeton’s X-Cel Swimming had the largest number of swimmers ever attend the “2009 Speedo Champions Series: Eastern Zone Northern Sectional Meet” held March 11-15 at the Blodgett pool in Harvard Univeristy. To be eligible for this meet, the swimmers met very challenging time cuts - there are no age groups or age requirements. X-Cel’s 2009 Sectional Team met this challenge at relatively young ages, a tribute to X-Cel’s expert coaching: Kelly Covey (17), Julia Cunningham (14), Serena Deardorff (13), Aleksa Lapinas (13), Rebecca Lewinson (16), Megan Lydzinski (15), Anna Marshall (15), Cori Michibata (14), Brynja Winnan (16) and Jocelyn Yuen (14). X-Cel Swimmers Rebecca Lewinson, Megan Lydzinski, Anna Marshall and Brynja Winnan qualified to swim in the Summer 2008 Supersectional Speedo Champions Meet held July 17th through July 20th at the Pennsylvania State University McCoy Natatorium outdoor long-course pool. April 1, 2008 - X-Cel Swims to Success At JOs Sending Swimmers To US Open and NCSA Junior National Meet

X-Cel Swimming, Princeton, NJ, had 44 swimmers qualify for the New Jersey Swimming Long Course Junior Olympics held at Rutgers University July 27th through July 29th. X-Cel placed fifth out of 42 participating teams with a combined team score of (1203.5) points. October 20, 2006 - X-CEL Swimming’s Top 8 Swimmers from the Octoberfest Invitational Short Course Swim Meet - Park Sets New State Record

Out of 31 teams at the Octoberfest Invitational Short Course Swim Meet at GCIT (Gloucester County Institute of Technology), October 14-15, 2006, X-Cel Swimming had the strongest presence with 97 athletes ages nine and up participating in 644 events. (Full story)

August 15, 2006 - X-CEL Swimmers Triumph Amid Tough Competition At The 2006 Eastern Zone Age Group LC Championships

Fifteen swimmers from X-Cel Swimming, Princeton, NJ qualified for the 2006 LC New Jersey Swimming Zone Team.  Nine of these went on to compete for NJ at the Eastern Zone Age Group Long Course Championships, held August 9-12 in Buffalo, NY. (Full story)

August 2, 2006 - X-CEL Swimming Excels at NJ LC Junior Olympics

X-Cel Swimming, Princeton, NJ, had 38 swimmers qualify for the New Jersey Swimming Long Course Junior Olympics held at Rutgers University July 28^th through July 30^th. 	Hi, This is Serena Deardorff with the JO News Report. On July 29th, the X-Cel (A) 200Free relay team, Megan  Lydzinski, June Zhang, Connie Zhang, and Jocelyn Yuen got a time of 2:03.78. The relay team beat the X-Cel record of 2:04.45 and scored gold. Megan gave us a boosted, head start, June and Connie kept up the lead, Jocelyn went a strong finish. They got 1st and won by 0.03 seconds.

	A four-person team consisting of Ceara Bowman, Annelies Paine, Serena Deardorff, and June Zhang swam a 200 meter medley relay in the Junior Olympics of 2006. Through hard work and constant practicing they achieved 1st place in their heat. First up was Ceara, who swam a split time of 39.25 for back. Next up was Annelies who swam a split time of 39.02 for breast. Serena swam a 34.28 for fly, and June swam a 31.13 for free. Their final time was a 2:23.68. Congratulations on your achievement. You were a great asset to X-Cel. P.S. Buying those fastskin apparently was not a waste.
