Swimming Experiences Success at Bring the Heat Meet
Princeton, NJ- X-Cel Swimming is pleased to announce
results for swimmers who finished among the top twentieth in their events at
the Bring the Heat Long Course Meet. The
event was held at Rutgers University on June 5, 2011.
In the 10 & under age group, Adam Golbin, 8,
placed sixth in the 50 fly (55.24) and thirteenth in the 50 breast
(1:04.76). Derek Ren, 9, placed ninth in
the 50 back (59.90). Michael Krigeris,
10, placed ninth in the 50 fly ( 1:03.69).
Alex Sang, 10, placed fifth in the 50 back (50.59) and twelfth in the 50
breast (1:02.60). Oliver Tang, 10,
placed fourth in the 50 back (48.44) and ninth in the 50 breast (54.32).
In the 11-12 age group, Samuel Golbin, 11, placed
seventeenth in both the 100 fly (1:35.40) and 100 free (1:19.60). Love Krishna, 11, placed third in the 50 back
(47.12) and fifth in the 50 fly
(49.10). Eric Li, 11, placed twentieth
in the 200 IM (3:18.17). Akash Raju, 11,
placed eighteenth in the 100 breast (1:48.19). Dhruv Sharma, 11, swam to a thirteenth
place finish the 200 free ( 3:00.05). Victoria Shwe, 11, placed seventeenth in the
50 back (50.79). Yash Tanga, 11, placed
eighth in the 200 free (2:45.81). Rhea
Kulkarni, 12, placed fourteenth in the
200 IM (3:18.00). Emily Ren, 12, placed
nineteenth in the 100 breast (1:44.02).
In the 13-14 age group, Rhea Bhatt, 13, placed
twentieth in both the 200 free (2:44.76) and
the 100 breast (1:37.76). Edison Lee, 13, placed twentieth in the 200
IM (3:01.76). Shannon Lerner, 13, placed
nineteenth in the 100 free (1:13.28).
Linda Lou, 13, placed sixteenth in the 200 IM (3:19.12). Elizabeth Shwe, 13,
placed seventeenth in the 50 back (51.69).
Heather Zhang, 13, swam to a second place finish in the 200 breast
(3:14.43) and placed sixteenth in the 200 free (2:38.32).
In the 15 & over age group, Patrick Yuen, 16,
swam to a fifth place finish in the 100 breast (1:21.51), placed thirteenth in
the 200 IM (2:46.05) and placed sixteenth in 100 free (1:06.70).
X-Cel Swimming is a USA Swimming team founded in 1995.
The program is led by Head Coach Lucy (SiPei) Le, five time Chinese National
Champion and former Olympic Team Member. X-Cel provides a comprehensive youth
swimming program for all levels of competitive swimming, from novice to
National level athlete. X-Cel's focused workouts with trained, qualified
coaches give each swimmer the opportunity to achieve his or her highest potential. Each swimmer develops physically, emotionally
