records, breaking one individual and three relay team records at the 2011 Summer

In the 11-12 age group, Melinda Tang, 11, placed first in the 200 free (2:22.15) and second in both the 100 free (1:05.6) and 400 free (5:00.20). Tang also placed fourth in the 400 IM (5:41.51) and 50 fly (33.00) and placed eighth in the 200 back (2:43.45). Eric Tong, 12, placed second in both the 50 free (29.46) and 50 breast (39.20). Tong also finished fifth in both the 100 free (1:06.33) and 50 back (35.92). Jackie Ngu, 11, made into the zone time in the 200 back (2:40.36) with place of fourth. Ngu also placed eighth in the 100 back (1:17.96). Kara Lydzinski, 12, placed third in the 50 fly (32.97) and fourth in the 50 free (30.12), a zone time breaker. Lydzinski also placed fifth in the 50 breast (40.68) and 100 fly (1:13.83) and swam to a seventh place finish in the 100 breast (1:28.78). Richard Deng, 12, placed sixth in the 100 free (1:06.66) and eighth in both the 200 IM (2:47.29) and 200 breast (3:13.16). Russel In, 12, placed eighth in the 200 back (2:47.12). Michael Zhong, 11, placed sixth in the 400 free (5:05.57). In the 11-12 girls’ relay, Jackie Ngu, Kara Lydzinski, Melinda Tang and Rachel Zhou set a new team record in 200 medley relay (2:19.22). In the 13-14 age group, Samantha Chan, 13, placed sixth in the 200 breast (2:58.99). Vincent Gibbons, 14, placed fourth in the 50 free (27.49) and sixth in the 100 free (1:00.72). In the 15 and over age group, Serena Deardorff, 16, placed second in both the 100 fly (1:04.80) and 200 fly (2:24.01). Megan Lydzinski, 17, placed third in the 50 free (27.67) and fourth in the 100 free (1:00.35). Anna Marshall, 17, placed third in the 100 breast (1:18.18) and fourth in the 200 breast (2:47.07). Addison Hebert, 16, placed fourth in the 50 free (25.05). Colburn Yu, 15, placed seventh and broke the team record in the 200 breast (2:34.34). In the 15 and over womens’ relays, Shawnee Gundry, Anna Marshall, Serena Deardorff and Megan Lydzinski set a new team record in the 200 Medley (2:05.34). In the 15 and over mens’ relay, Harun Filipovic, Colburn Yu, Addison Hebert and Dave Pennenga set a new team record in the 200 Medley (1:58.73).

and former Olympic Team Member. X-Cel provides a comprehensive youth swimming
program for all levels of competitive swimming, from novice to National level
