X-CEL SWIMMERS PLACE 17TH AT THE CERA VE INVITATIONAL, TWENTY FIRST ANNUAL WINTER LONG COURSE SWIM MEET

 

 

 

 

 

Princeton, NJ-  X-Cel Swimming is pleased to announce results of the top eight swimmers finished at the Cerave Invitational Champs.  The event was held at Rutgers University, January 13-15, 2012. 

In the 10 and under age group, Allison Chou, 10, placed fourth in 50 back (40.30) and fifth in the 50 free (34.73).  Chou also finished sixth in both 100 free (1:16.72) and 100 fly (1:27.02), seventh in 50 fly (38.17) and eighth in 50 breast (48.31).  Alexandra Comaniciu, 10, placed fifth in 50 back (40.47).

 

In the 11-12 age group, Jacqueline Ngu, 12, placed third in 200 free (2:22.66) and fourth in 100 free (1:06.50).  Ngu also finished fifth in 100 back (1:15.46) and eighth in 50 free (31.06).  Melinda Tang, 12, won first in 200 free (2:20.88) and placed third in both 200 IM (2:37.68) and 100 fly (1:12.91).  Tang also finished fourth in 50 fly (32.16), fifth in 50 free (30.24), and eighth in 100 back (1:17.16).  Michael Zhong, 12, placed third in 100 fly (1:13.73) and fourth in 400 free (4:54.65).  Zhong also finished fifth in 100 free (1:05.70) and sixth in 200 free (2:22.32).

 

In the 13-14 and under age group, Samantha Chan, 14, placed fifth in 200 breast (2:54.18).

 

In the senior age group, Megan Lydzinski, 18, placed third in 100 free at preliminary (58.89) and forth in 100 free at final (58.55).  Lydzinski also finished fifth in 50 free at preliminary (27.35) and sixth in 50 free at final (27.39).

 

X-Cel Swimming is a USA Swimming team founded in 1995.  The program is led by Head Coach Lucy (SiPei) Le, five time Chinese National Champion and former Olympic Team Member. X-Cel provides a comprehensive youth swimming program for all levels of competitive swimming, from novice to National level athlete.
